Vriesenhof Kallista 2019

The Vriesenhof Kallista (the best in Greek) is only vinified in exceptionally good years with blend of the best classic Bordeaux varieties.

After being harvested by hand, the young wine matures for around 24 months in small French Nevers oak barriques. These give it a silky and round touch that makes it taste harmonious and soft on the palate in particular. Even diehard Bordeaux fans will be surprised by this wine.

Nose: Earthy notes, wood spice and red fruits. Palate: This is a brightly styled wine with classical structure. Red fruit flavours and firm chalky texture provide energy and freshness that persist long after the last sip.
