Terms of service

DELIVERY                                             

1. Orders should have a minimum value of HK$1000.00 in order to receive FREE delivery. Cases are 12 bottles unless stated otherwise and mixed cases are allowed. 
2. Orders received before 5.00pm from Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) will be delivered on the next working day.
3. For orders being delivered to the outlying islands, some delivery charges may apply.
4. All orders will be delivered on Wine Legs Limited invoice and a duplicate copy of this invoice should be signed by the customer and returned to the Wine Legs office as receipt of delivery.
5. Third-party logistic partners may be involved in the deliveries. We and the third-party logistics will make every effort to deliver at the agreed date and time; the customer acknowledges that delivery dates are only best estimates, which we shall endeavour to keep to. We shall not be liable for consequences of any delay.

PRICES & VINTAGES                        

1. All prices and vintages quoted in the price list are subject to change without prior notice, particularly in the case of major currency fluctuations and/or changes in vintage. 
2. The prices listed are ‘per bottle’ and in Hong Kong Dollars. These listed prices are before any agreed customer specific discounts, such as pouring allowance discounts. Such discounts will be applied at time of invoice and shipment of wine. 

COMPLAINTS, BREAKAGES & LOSSES                                                              

1. We guarantee the quality of our wine. However, the ‘living and fragile’ nature of wine means that on occasion a bottle may be spoiled by any number of factors.  
2. All orders are carefully checked before delivery. If a bottle of wine is considered to be faulty, please notify us immediately. The faulty bottle(s) should then be returned to us for our examination within 2 working days. No complaint can be entertained unless this condition is observed.  

RETURNS 

1. Any wines that are to be returned due to changes in wine lists etc. will only be accepted if they are current vintage and in perfect condition. (including labels and capsules) 
2. We do not accept any returns of Bordeaux fine wines valued higher than HKD500 per bottle, wines older than 10 years and wines delivered to the Food and Beverage establishment longer than 120 days.

          

PAYMENT TERMS 

1. Goods are offered on cash terms. Credit accounts may be opened at the discretion of the Company. 

CREDIT ACCOUNTS                                                            

1. Credit accounts can be opened for trade/corporate customers through submission of a credit application form and related supporting documents. A monthly statement of account will be sent to each customer.  
2. Credit accounts are to be settled within the credit period specified on the initial application.
3. Our Company reserves the right to withdraw or amend credit terms whenever it deems necessary. Credit applications will need to be updated once every two years upon our request.
4. Please also notify us in writing if there are any changes in the information submitted on the initial application.

                                                                               

PAYMENT                                                            

1. Credit accounts should be settled in Hong Kong Dollars either by cash, cheque, direct debit or autopay.
2. Cheques should be made payable to “Wine Legs Limited” and can be sent to our Accounts Department by mail but post-dated cheques are not acceptable.
3. For cash-on-delivery (COD) orders, payment must be made immediately upon or before delivery.
4. All goods sold remain under the title of Wine Legs Limited unless the total invoice amounts are fully settled.
5. The purchaser declares that he/she is over 18 years old and would ensure that the recipient to take delivery must be over 18 years old.
